Action Tools
There are lots of materials available from Safe from the Start
making it easy for health care providers, parents and caregivers to get up to date information
on dangerous and recalled products.
- Waiting and exam room posters (pdf)
These posters grab the viewer’s attention with bold yellow and black designs,
and Danny’s picture and story of how he was killed by a recalled portable crib.
Not only do they teach about the dangers of unsafe products, but they also provide
resources in order for people to take action.

Spanish Version (pdf)
These brochures outline a plan for parents and caregivers to protect their
children from dangerous children’s products. The three steps to safety give
people the facts, information, and resources they need to create a safe
environment for their kids. The brochures are available in both English and Spanish.
- Talking Points on product safety (pdf)
Talking points is an outline of the dangers of specific children’s products and recalls.
Talking Points were developed to provide healthcare providers with the necessary
information to become a reliable source on children’s product safety.
They are also useful information for parents who want to know more.
- Stroller Safety Brochure (pdf)
Spanish Version (pdf)
The Stroller brochure includes a checklist of strollers that have been recalled,
as well as basic stroller safety information.
