What can you do? |
Visit CPSC for
recall information and check all products your child uses for recalled items. This includes cribs, playpens or high chairs at grandma's house; nursery furniture at churches or synagogues, car seats and
cribs in rental cars or hotels.
If you have used a product recently that broke or doesn't seem safe, report the problem to
the CPSC and the manufacturer. If you are given an unsafe crib in a hotel,
let the manager know.
Check to see
if your state has passed the Children's Product Safety Act. If not, call your representative or senator today and
ask that they sponsor this lifesaving legislation. This will require hotels and other businesses to only sell or lease safe children's products.
Download KID's informational brochures
or email us to request copies and give them to other parents, caregivers
or service providers that work with young families.
