Xfinity Agrees to Remove Ad Depicting Unsafe Sleep from Broadcast

  After a Change.org petition and a direct appeal from KID, Xfinity has agreed to remove an ad depicting unsafe sleep from broadcast. Understanding KID’s position on safe sleep

Last week, KID shared the following statement online via our Facebook and Twitter sites: "2 out of 3 babies who died while sleeping were sharing an adult bed, couch, or chair. Abigail, Danny L, Jamie, Liam (Over 12 Million Cribs Recalled since 2007)

More infants die every year in cribs than from any other nursery product. Illinois Bumper Pad Ban Moves to Senate: Your Help Needed

On April 22, 2015 HB 3761 (McAsey) passed the Illinois House. This bill bans the sale of crib bumper pads in Illinois (already banned in Chicago).
